The drive back

Most of Saturday was spent working on a paper for the International Telemetry Conference in San Luis Obispo. I also walked around downtownmost of Saturday. I visited Law's Hobby Store under the Masonic Hall in SLO. Law's has been in this location since 1960. The owner recently sold the business to her employees. I also picked up the Stanley Kubric film, Full Metal Jacket at COSTCO. This film features R Lee Ermy without limits. I drove back from San Luis Obispo Saturday night.

I was saddened to hear Friday that Gene Law, an expert in telemetry systems became ill after a recent Range Commanders Council Telemetry Group meeting. I hope he comes back to work soon.
