Next Generation Airborne Telemetry Data Recorder

Heim Data Systems released the new D7000 Airborne Recorder in December. Here is the D7000 web page on the Heim Data Site.

Airborne data recording technology just keeps getting better.

The D-7000 records multiple data sources (Analog, MIL-STD-1553 data, PCM, ARINC-429, Ethernet, Audio, Serial, and Video (NTSC S-Video)) in IRIG Chapter 10 format and has an integrated IRIG time code generator.

Media cartridges for the D7000 (either a disk drive or solid state) come with an integral IEEE 1194b Firewire interface for data transfer on the ground. Each type of cartridge provides over 70GB of storage and supports transfer rates up to 256 Mbps.
