Where the Surf meets the turf

We are spending the day at the Del Mar race track. This a really great place. I am writing this from the grand stand seats. We are in the first level above the finish line.

The weather is so much cooler then the Rosamond/Lancaster's 100 plus days we have been living through back home.

So far life is good, my companions picks have come in 4 times. She got help with picks from a friend.

Parking was easy. The people sitting next to us were from Victorville and took the train down here. We may do that sometime.
